A song you can play on an instrument.
Like a good friend of mine I can probably play The Triangle!
I do play guitar, not particularly well but enough to keep me happy. I watch bands and wish I could play like they do.
I've been following a local band as I have mentioned before http://www.myspace.com/ihateyoumoremusic and then I realise how little I know on the guitar.
I did treat myself to a Dean Razorback guitar which I will treasure as a collectors piece.
At college I was in a band like many people were and there were a number of cover songs we played often.
The obvious choice here would be "Wild Thing" by The Troggs but I reckon most people could manage this song - it's only three chords, a bit like The Beatles & Oasis!!
My favourite little tune to play is "Knockin' on Heavens Door" - again it's a three/four chord masterpiece.
But my choice for today is a favourite we used to play in the band (My Uncle George) and it's gonna be great to hear at this years http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/2011/
