30 Day Song Challenge - Day 11

A song by your favourite band.

A seriously tough challenge today as there are so many bands I like and judging by the CD & download count I have many favourites.

To make my life and your life simpler I'm going to concentrate on three titans of the music industry.

Formed in 1993 this group has gone from strength to strength despite some challenging times, the death of a member and taking a leave of absence for sometime only to return stronger. Boyzone have fought hard to maintain themselves as one of the true titans in music only being challenged in my humble opinion by Westlife and the massive Take That.

Choosing favourite songs is difficult from the massive array of hits these band have had and still continue to churn out. Boyzone's "No Matter What' is probably one of their the most well known song whereas Westlife's "Flying without Wings' released in 1999 is still a true classic. Westlife themselves have continued to be the ballad masters and even today without the stools and despite loosing a member can still wow the audience with their masterful standing still on stage.

Fighting harder than most groups though is Take That, from the early days it was clear to see the talent of the group and they simply couldn't put a foot wrong producing a string of all time classic songs. After breaking many peoples hearts and 'calling it a day' they triumphantly returned in 2006 bringing us even more hits. One of my personal favourites stems from the hit film 'Stardust' and is now used on many shows to emphasise joy to all, 'Rule The World' was an return to their awesome best.

For me Take That really only made one mistake, something that Metallica would have been guilty of had they let Dave back in the band - man from Stoke and men from Manchester you know your crime.

And so I come to the moment of choosing a song by my favourite band. This was such a close run thing but after some thought I choose;
